Foodie friends
In late summer 2022, I thought hey, I want to make some Christmas ornaments for my shop this year, but I definitely don’t want to hand paint each one. Then, I knew I wanted it to be food - but not JUST food… how about people in food costumes? But there’s so many iconic foods!! How am I supposed to choose just one?! So THEN I got the idea to turn it into a contest, and Instagram helped me decide which Foodie Friend would become the winner and letterpress paper ornament that I’d have printed at my local studio and sell in my online shop. It was a close call, but out of 20 contestants across 4 categories, Mr. Strawberry was voted the Ultimate Foodie Friends Champion. Or something like that.
